PRIORITY THIS WEEK
Stop HB 60 – Protect Housing Rights for People with Disabilities (Thursday, 5/22)
This bill would allow landlords to evict tenants without cause once their lease expires. The proposed law opens the door to housing instability and discrimination, especially for people with disabilities. If passed, it would:
• Allow no-cause evictions, removing current protections for tenants who follow all lease terms
• Put individuals with disabilities at greater risk of losing their homes due to bias or lack of accessible options
• Undermine the fair housing progress we have fought for across New Hampshire
