What is “Protected Because I Am Connected”?

People with disabilities are safer when they are part of a community. When you have people who know you, care about you, and speak up for you, you are harder to hurt and easier to help. Connection is protection. That is what this event is all about.

Right now, there are real concerns about how well New Hampshire protects people with disabilities. We want to talk about that honestly. We also want to talk about what we can do together to make things better.

Who should come?

You. People with disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, and anyone who cares about making New Hampshire fairer and safer for everyone.
